Designs

Between 2010 and 2016, I designed a series of posters for theatre performances and advertising campaigns. During the same period, I also served as the art director of an online graphic design magazine, creating posters for its monthly releases. My poster practice has always been rooted in my admiration for the Warsaw School of Poster Design. While studying Japanese poster design during my master’s degree, I became particularly inspired by the work of Takashi Akiyama and Shigeo Fukuda, whose innovative visual language reflects the profound influence of the Polish poster tradition and demonstrates how the spirit of the Warsaw School was reinterpreted within Japan’s own rich graphic design culture. Although I used digital tools to complete my designs, I preferred to begin with hand drawings, allowing ideas to emerge through sketching before refining them digitally. My work is characterised by vivid colours, bold visual contrasts, and playful imagery.
